Funny that even in the RS accident, the name "Choksi" was involved. Are they from the same family or what?

Don't be so sure. It's also the angle of collision. Don't know about Skoda but OPTRA doesn't feel that strong during regular use. I've seen the bumper assembly of OPTRA time and again (hey, in their service station only and not in my car) but didn't look as strong as Cielo. If it's actually that strong from all angle, then I'm really happy. What say N_C and Rtech?

Isn't a bumper a "crumple-om-impact" area, so that max energy would be dissipated upon impact? In that case, it would be weak. Or would it? Someone with better technical knowledge, please clarify.

Thank God the crash didn't involve two smaller, but equally quick cars.

Looks like the Skoda got T-boned on the driver side. Its a miracle that the Skoda guy is OK because there isint much structure in the side.

It was really saddening to hear about this crash. That Haji Ali junction is one of the most dangerous crossing. The cars and bikes just zoom in from anywhere, especially the buses.Hope the drivers learn something after this crash.

Mostly accidents occur in the night or early morning thanx to reckless traffic rules of look and go and drink and drive..

The optra driver didnot brake but the Octavia driver did as said in midday..

I know this sounds wicked, but if anyone has a first hand account of the incident, can they describe which car was damaged more?
