Daily Monkey Menace with my Santro's OSRVM

My locality (Mayur Vihar Delhi) has become a hub for monkeys and the number it multiplies every week is alarming.

Despite folding my OSRVM, every day or two, I find my car's mirror stripped off its casing courtesy these monkeys. God knowws how they open the casing, take off the mirror, look at their faces and throw it off elsewhere.

I have replaced 3 mirrors last month. Any suggestions to avoid this?

I was thinking of adding unwanted 72 to the bananas and giving it to them.

Hey Sid, try getting some sleeves (or gloves) custom-stitched, preferably of some hard fabric, spray some insect repellent on them and use them to cover your RVMs. See how it goes!

Have you tried covering the car? Effective and inexpensive solution imo.

Totally OT:
Try showing them the AD for the particular product. They would run away!

I think Monkeys get nightmares if they see Lungurs, so make cut out of real Lungurs picture and paste on the cardboard and just stick inside your glass window as if Lungurs were watching outside, they may scare the monkeys, who will not dare to come near your car. Try it! may be it work.

Perhaps the monkey wants to drive your car. Pill 72 or these methods will not work.

I think using a full cover for the car is probably your best (and easiest) option. Go for a heavier material like tarpaulin, rather than the lightweight parachute cloth type of material.

lol sid that's innovative thinking but you will have to feed them every 72hrs (PJ)

I think a thick tarpaulin cover should do the trick!

Apply wet chalk to the OVRMS. This will make the glass less interesting for the monkeys. It is known that once wet chalk is cleaned from the mirrors the mirrors get sparky clean
