Burnt Swift Lying at the Police Station

Saw this Red swift 2 days back. Burnt to smithereens on the inside!

The inside is completely gutted ! Looks like a huge inferno would have ensued. To me it seems that the fire broke out from inside first.

Any idea how this happened ?

I think its got to do with the aftermarket ICE.

This must be the same Swift which was reported to be driven by a lady somewhere near Peddar Road. and caught fire. The lady could bail out before the fire turned into an inferno. This news came in one of the newspapers about a fortnight back. Reason seemed to be an electric short circuit. Infact after reading that I have been inspecting my wirings in the engine bay of the Swift. Have found two cables to be having very sticky meshed insulation. Have applied insulation tape for the time being.
