Re: Rants on Bangalore's traffic situation

Because of these extremely time conscious people on wrong side of the road on Doddanekundi Main Road near Marathahalli, I got involved in an accident this morning. I had to stop my car (while driving at about 35 kmph), hence the bike rider behind me (although he had sufficient gap and reaction time) also had to apply brakes but skidded on the wet road due to rain and fell down. He had some hand and leg injury. Few of us tried to help. He said he can manage to reach his place, which is nearby. Later on I gave a call to him to enquire about his health. Felt really bad for him

These most splendiferous and wonderfully talented and busy people whose time is worth more than Plutonium, are similar to those spenndiferous and wonderfully talented and busy people whose time is worth more than Venus’s tears, who perform similar miracles every morning near the BDA Complex in Koramangala!
God rest their miserable and cross-bred Souls when one of them falls prey and becomes a tomato ketchup and rubber sandwich to anyone coming in the opposite direction when these self same splendiferous characters break the line and use the wrong way...

Re: Rants on Bangalore's traffic situation

I'd give anything to know what these 'splendiferous and wonderfully talented and busy people' reach their rendezvous and do. Are these the wheels on which our great country moves? Or do they reach their seats and sit glued to their 5.5-inch displays? A small drizzle today completely crippled that zenith of man's innovation called 'Silkboard Junction'. Should leave a note and warn coming generations on this mess

My workplace is adjacent to it and we have been watching(in horror) this building coming up the last couple of years and this has been a big topic of discussion among us almost everyday. We saw how the Wells Fargo buildings messed up traffic on the other side and now are waiting with a sense of inevitable gloom. To top it all, just when we thought they are done with all the humongous towers they started digging on rear end of the plot for more.

Re: Rants on Bangalore's traffic situation

Few companies are offering work from home option along with deferred timings to employees tomorrow in view of funeral proceedings of Actor Ambareesh.
There could be traffic snarls and jams tomorrow.

Plan your day accordingly.

Those using wind tunnel road, be careful about nails thrown around the road.

A friend of mine had 4 punctures in last week, 3 on his car and one on his Activa.

Rants on Bangalore's traffic situation

Pls avoid these routes between 10 am and 1 pm.

These roads will be blocked or traffic diverted for the funeral procession of Ambarish. RIP great man.

Re: Rants on Bangalore's traffic situation

Road rage incident reported in today's Hindu.

Strange that a group from KR puram got enraged at 5.45 AM at Janabarati.

Was thinking they would have got used to worse.

SUV, occupants returning back from a late night party from one of the many farmhouses after striking a deal? You never know!

These thugs never change. Remember 2 months back SUV driver assaulted a traffic warden near Kadubesanahalli.

There is a major traffic pileup on all roads leading to koramangala sony world signal. I've been stuck here for almost an hour trying to reach Indira nagar. As of now no clue on the reason for this pileup

I am supposed to take this road from the Koramangala side to reach Domlur around 7 this evening. How much time should I set aside for travel considering there are no alternative roads as well? Should I just cancel?
