Rest house road would be your best bet but again it depends on what time you get there. If its later than 11 am, finding parking anywhere around museum road, st marks road & residency road is a pain & you might be better off taking a cab/bus/metro |

It might sound counter-intuitive but if you're willing to take an auto/cab for a couple kms each way, you can park at Garuda Mall on Magrath Road. You may need to account for the extra commute to/from your car but safe parking is assured. Last edited by Chetan_Rao : 14th June 2016 at 20:31. |

Cheaper than an auto fare would be to park in UB city and it is a 10 min walk. |

![]() Never been there so couldn't comment on availability. Definitely closer to destination though. Last edited by Chetan_Rao : 14th June 2016 at 21:26.

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Not sure were else to post this query. I need to park my car at Bangalore Cantt Station for a day from early morning to late night. Has anyone done this there and is it safe? I was thinking of parking at the main building side parking which is across the main road. I have a feeling, knowing these attendants and how they operate, they will charge some unheard amount when I go to pick it up. Any inputs? |

You could park somewhere on St. Marks road and walk. Or you could park inside the consulate after greasing the security's palms with Rs 50.

While I've never parked long-term at the Cantonment station parking, I feel the platform 2 (rear entrance) entry from the St.John's Church road side is much safer and sees lot lesser crazy parking and traffic. Recently, Railways has expanded the passenger services facilities and it's well lit-up too unlike the front (crossing the road is a scary experience there!). |
