As a pedestrain, I choose to take a u turn under intel flyover or bellandur flyover to cross the road at ecospace when the traffic assistants are not around. I don't have the guts to cross that road at that point.

Segueing to "beware of a new median": I noticed a new median between Flyover and skywalk at Marathahalli today. I don't understand the intent yet. If you are travelling in that route, which I do everyday, expect chaos tomorrow :(

Chaos at Tin factory, towards ITPL.

Traffic was pilled up till the ring road bridge. There were two problems contributing to the jam. One was possibly traffic pilled up right from the railway station exit. The second problem, and what was making matters worse were people coming onto the road from the so called bus stop at tin factory. People usually stand along the flyover railing, those heading towards Kolar, AP, etc. They were on the road, making a human median.

I had no choice but take the old madras road highway to reach ITPL.

Yes, there are idiots everywhere - but do we run over a biker when he at the absolute left and wants to take a right, while you are driving straight on (happened to me today)? No. Do we ram a car who is driving bad, No. Why be so impatient with the pedestrians ? Why it matters most is that they are at the maximium risk of injury on the road from everyone else.

There was a huge pileup in opposite side too, towards Marthahalli. I doubt this was caused due to the new traffic signal kept below Bellandur flyover.

^^ Looking at the above 2 posts, NICE is a nicer option for me to reach EC if I am starting in the next 20 minutes from Vidyaranyapura.

I have often felt delighted whenever I have seen thin traffic only to get stuck at one big mess for at least 30 minutes!!

I started for office at 8.45am from Ramamurthy Nagar. 1 hour to cross NGEF, 1 hour cross Indiranagar 100ft road, 1 hour to cross intermediate ring road, 30mins to reach Madiwala underpass - total 3.5 hours for a distance of 14kms!!

Same here. I am stuck at Cauvery theatre junction for the past 15 minutes due to rain water clogging the underpass.

Due to the rain in the morning, I think everyone opted to take their 4-wheelers to office. I left hsr layout at 11:30 & it took me 1 hour to reach ecospace, bellandhur.

I believe its only rain which caused more traffic in Bangalore. I usually travel to Ecospace during early morning at around 6 AM. Because of today's rain I almost took 25 Minutes from Agara Lake to Ecospace.
