correct driving posture..can someone suggest and spread the message please!

As I was driving for work today, i was distracted by an Alto on the left side of the road which was constantly honking and moving very cautiously on the road. seeing the L-sticker on the car windshield and the speed of the car, i knew it must be a lady driving it even before i overtook it

A casual glance as i passed and sure enough it was a middle aged lady(score!)
what disturbed me, however, was that she was practically perched on the steering wheel and peering over it, trying to see the front end of the car and driving all at the same time.

but i do think some one should educate new drivers on proper seating postures to avoid bodily damage in case of accidents.

my idea of a safe sitting posture is:
when seated you should be able to depress the clutch pedal fully and at the same time not have your posterior thigh muscles(hamstring muscles) pressed too tightly against the seat. you lock the forward movement of the seat at that outermost position and then go for the reclining position next.
for the reclining position, hold your right arm out completely(but not fully stretched out) and grip the left side of the steering wheel at the 10' o-clock position.

when you do this with both arms simultaneously, they will cross each other and grip the steering wheel at the 10.10 clock position. now lock your reclining position at this point.
this is the safest driving position and anything closer, in my opinion is not safe at all.

of course, any correct seating position is most effective only with a seatbelt and my sincere advice is to wear the belt at all times.
but believe me..this is one hold which will save your life so get to live with it!
