Langur bites are very painful and can give you rabies! Did you notice that the rider is wearing a helmet! Doesn't it all look a bit stage managed??

Re: Strange sightings on the road

Today I saw these two Strange Sightings at Andheri RTO in the morning.
First one gives us a best example to follow the QUEUE. (If tired of waiting then relax).
Second photo says best way to relax in shade of a tree without disturbance.

Re: Strange sightings on the road

Saw this in one of the photos from a Chor Bazar site having plenty of photos.
As we see in Chor Bazar, almost every shop owner owns a goat which is tied out side his shop.

This one took me out of my brains. I was not in my wildest dreams beliving that Reva could be moded to be such a dashing one.

The Wide tires , The Alooys and the Black top with its cute Yellow color matches. I belive M&M needs to take clues from this for their Next Reva iterations..

Put it on Delhi Traffic Police's website. Hope this guy gets fined. Not only stupid but utterly dangerous too.

Honking, Heat Unsettle Horse Who Smashes Through Car's Windshield In Jaipur

Quote:
The horse was on its way on Sunday afternoon when the blaring horns and blistering heat reportedly spooked the animal who made a dash and hit a car coming in the opposite direction. According to passersby, the horse lost its control and broke into the windshield of a car near Jaipur Club in Civil Lines. The horse remained stuck for at least 10 minutes before people rescued the horse and the driver. Locals were soon joined by officials from the forest department.

I know it is more than 4 years since the question was asked, but ...
The aircraft is a Boeing 737, previous generation.

Re: Strange sightings on the road

Well I was in a dilemma about posting this here or in the unusual/funny thread but think it is more relevant here.

A man in Hyderabad dug up the NH in search of Shiva Lingam. Lakhan Manoj (30), a village scavenger claimed to have been “visited” by Lord Shiva and asking him to dig up the earth at a particular spot near Pembarthi, where a Shiv Lingam was buried at a depth of 12 feet. Traffic was piled up on both sides of the highway because of this. Police initially apprehensive in stopping the digging finally stopped this but after the person had dug up 20 ft in search of the lingam.

PIT :
Strange sightings on the road-hy06pembarthy.jpg

Quoting from the HT article:
Quote:
The self-styled seer, Lakhan Manoj (30), was arrested on Monday after he deployed an earth-moving machine to dig a 15-feet well on the National Highway 163 that connects Hyderabad and Warangal.

A village sarpanch, a municipal vice chairman and a local Congress leader were also taken into custody for helping Lakhan, who claimed he was asked by Lord Shiva to look for the lingam, police added. The incident happened at Pembarthi of Jangaon district
Similar articles from NDTV and Hindu.

After reading this article I was thinking that apart from people negotiating bad traffic, vehicles and what not on the NH's , now they have to be alert of people digging up the road in search of idols, gold and such.
