they are excellent drivers, but i guess it's their working conditions that aggrivate road rage and rash driving.
i mean their cabins are always as hot as furnaces, i dont suppose they have synchronized gear shifts or power steering either. on top of that wheezing engines, bad suspension. i mean they can hardly be blamed. their stress levels seem amazingly high. i have seen guys with lavishly equipped cars going at it, i pity these guys sometimes. of course, being forced onto oncoming traffic while travelling in a rickshaw isnt my idea of finishing the day.

That is true!!
South indian drivers are really maniacs!! (some are good maniacs though
When i was at school at kodaikanal there was a bus that used to take us back to dorm, and one evening there was so much fog/mist that u literally could not see 5feet ahead...and the bus driver drove all the way in that fog at full speed on the winding mountain road to our dorm just from his knowledge of the road...and believe me you could not see ANYHITNG. It was crazy!!!
Also going up the ghats from coimbatore to kodai it was a known fact that the bus drivers would take the ghats faster than if you took a cab.....no matter what car it was!!

BEST bashing!

the worst insult/abuse one can give a BEST bus driver - 'ghanti ka ghulam'.

advisory:
please use this insult only if u have a fast car & an open road ahead of u, because when u use this insult, the BEST bus turns into a giant red fire-breathing dragon (giant red Ferrarri with Shumacher at the wheel)..

i tried it once and then had to curse Maruti Udyog Ltd. for having manufactured 800s with 3-cyl engines when what i really needed then was a 12-cyl engine..

I think the BEST drivers are one of the BEST drivers in the world, i dont think i can handle car so well in Zaveri Bazar, where they just zoom.....

They are to Frustated driving such a huge veichle in horrible conditions and also the fact that when u have Huge wheels u tend to think u rule the roads, I peety them. The attitude of the BEST mgmt is also horrible, imagine in an AC bus, the driver is not provided with AC.

Well if not for them, Mumbai wld not be able to function so smoothly.

best drivers are the one whom u love to hate. but give the conditions they drive the buses in i also pity them.

but an incident that had happened with my dad 15 yrs back. my dad had purchased a second hand fiat and was driving his ways from the office in New Mumbai to ghatkopar. he had a small accident with an best fellow where the best fellow was at fault. my poor dad did not go ahead with the incident and got the car repaired. after 6 months he received a summon from the court to appear before for this particular accident. the irony was that he was responsible for the accident and he had to attend the cpourt at least five times for the same.

such is the way of life.

get even!!

hey ppl

m not too sure of this but i heard tht if a BEST driver hits u.. n u r helpless as usual... just knock off the headlight on the drivers side

its supposed to b the drivers responsibility... n he gets fined or smtin

I dont intend to screw up a poor man's salary.. but smtimes it gets beyond tht

@ aah78 - your post was really hilarious

@ manaa / shubbhi - I think you missed a 'not' before the 'responsible'.

I believe that the BEST drivers cannot be charged / arrested by the common police unless it is a serious / fatal accident. In fact you cannot even lodge an FIR agains them in a police station. This is because they r supposed to have their own court & legal system.
Correct me guys if I'm wrong.
