By looking at the photos and damage to the car (right side of the Palio and left side of the Indica) I think the Palio driver tried to overtake on the left lane and at the same time, seeing the Palio approaching, the Indica driver tried to move to the left lane to give way and got hit.

This is simply a mis-calculation from both the driver.

I'd agree with cLJ. The palio looks to be travelling well above 100. Everyone in the car should thank their stars for being alive. I'd say that everyone involved made bad decisions .. the decision to stretch yourselves while driving at night, the decision to stop right in the middle of the road to see something ... All of us here need to learn a lot from this incident
