Unsolicited "No Parking In Front of The Gate" signs!

My house gate has got flooded with these unsolicited "No parking" signs, attached either early in the morning or late at night, by unscrupulous advertising agents. I have a tough time removing them (at the rate of at least 2 to 3 signboards a week), only for them to reappear again !

How do you deal with this

How about sending them a bill for Rs.10,000 as advertising fee!

Simple; put a complete metal sheet covering the entire gate so that these parking signs cannot be fastened to the gate.

Or put a board stating, "dogs are allowed, but not ads", as a matter to insult them.

Put a giant sign saying no ads on your gate!

Maybe catching them in the act could prevent them from doing it to your gate?

How about a board from your side.
"Parking welcome. Just thrash the guy who put the no parking board."

best solution.. Have a DOG @ home

That solves your problem for ever. No one dares touch your gate even. Thats how i secure my residence. I dont even lock the gate in the night times.

Best is to catch them red handed. If you live in a colony notify the security about it.

I guess there would be some phone numbers printed along. Try giving them a call. Can you complain to police?

The Chennai menace has reached Bangalore.

My dad finally gave up removing this boards and we now have a colorful gate. But still people do park in front of the gate.

Make an arrangement with the local scrap dealer to come over every week and pick up these boards.

My watchman does something like this. He collects all the boards from our 4 gates and sells them to the scrap shop. But the signs are back the very next day!

Why dont you install a CCTV camera and capture the photos of the guys doing the posting job. Next, take a huge print out of their photos with some warnings words and stick it on the gate. When the guys come for the pasting, they will get a shock of their life seing their faces.
What say???

Usually they will have the advertised names at the bottom or side. Just cut it out and fix them back. With no space left to fix they will go away and you have an advertisement free "No parking" board.

Two of the boards had disappeared already when I reached home tonight, before I could call the scrap dealers ! I do not know who stole these boards

Anyway, I am not complaining
