Thats a bad one, mate. But then as has been said earlier, these things happen. Good to see that you are unhurt as these dumper hits can get quite bad. Dont worry about the structural integrity at all. What happened to the cop thing? Just curious.

oh man, that is bad.
though the good thing is you are safe.
these truckers are seriously a major hazard especially ones running in a herd and trying to outrun each other
wish your car a speed recovery

That looks bad. Which model is your car? 2008? Looks in mint condition

Sad and frustrated to see this.

Terrible!! Feel sorry for you and your car.
I am not able to digest the fact that truck driver got away without any hassle.
Probably you should have given a movie climax like chase and given him a beating of his life time.

Sorry Akshay, I simply cannot tolerate to see someone destroying other's property, especially when they're beloved ones!!!
Bro,i dont have a heart of steel, trust me my heart was bleeding when this all happened for no fault of mine.
Since, there were 4-5 Similar trucks,i was unable to note down the number of the culprit truck,as my car was facing the traffic, due to the impact.
and bumper was stuck,so i was unable to drive the car properly.
I noted down, the number of one of those trucks, and when the cops came, they were drunk.
I had an altercation with them,as they refused to file any report.
So,i dropped the idea,as i was already more worried about the car.
@dreamcatcher,its 06 not an 08.

Morons!!! Don't want to do their job; now days, no one is filing cases for simple accident cases. But Chennai is far better regarding this. 2 years ago, I filed a petty incident like this where someone did a negligient riding, due to which I fell of the road. But too much of red tapism is playing in form of proofs!!!

Verdict - Its better to hit someone & run to police station rather than getting hit in this country. Has anyone noticed? These days, ppl talk as if these things are very common & don't care for minor scratches & dents. If one makes a big fuss, others advice saying these are common in everyday life & shouldn't take these seriously!!! 5 years from now, God only save this country!!!

OMG! Its heartwrenching to see your vehicle damaged and hard to believe it is the one I clicked in 2009. Do post the pictures after repair.
