Re: A Bentley joins the family

The Bentley is designed to last over a 100 years and many owners. Recently saw a program on Discovery about this super-car and how it is made. I heard the rear trays behind the front seats has more than 50 intricate parts. Do let us have a dekko of that...

@Mannuj - Thanks for the superb pics. The attention to detail in the craftmanship is mindblowing. Bentley branding is everywhere - Gear Knob, Steering, Wheel Discs etc. You are absolutely right the tyre valve caps can actually be used as cufflinks.

Once again congrats on this wonderful acquisition.

Beautiful Pictures. Good to see such detailed images of a super luxury car. Helps to gauge the craftsmanship as compared to other less expensive cars . Carry on with the pictures and ride safe.

Re: A Bentley joins the family

This thread brought a tear to my eye. The beauty of a Bentley is almost unparalleled and to me they are the better among the Winged B and the Rolls Royce.

These cars, especially the Brooklands are something that I never thought you could have in India. It shows how our country has arrived if one of the most exclusive cars in the world makes its way here.

Congratulations on your new car Manuuj Sir.

Its a very valid question my friend..but its safe to say that the car does not require a running in..its good to go from the day you get it. Its always better though to exercise caution and take it easy in my humble view..my brother thinks otherwise..

What are the circular 'buttons' on either side of the rear LED strip? Parking sensors in addition to the camera?
They are parking sensors indeed ..a total of 8 if i am correct in the front and rear combined.

Thank you for the warm words also.

dkaile i think you are referring to the fold down tables that the Flying Spur and the Mulsanne come with. The GT does not have these as there is just about enough space for an adult to sit in relative comfort.

I'm pretty sure its for loose items buddy. The case is actually quite thin so far from sunglasses even my thin spectacles dont fit inside. It looks a lot like a sunglasses case but can accommodate only some change and other loose items. The only way to get sunglasses in that is to dismantle them first.. hahaha!!

First of all "Manuuj Sir".. who is that?? Call me Manuuj buddy :-)

The interior of the Bentley is unparalleled to any car that I've seen so far.
The RR has great interiors but seems to be machine manufactured like those of the 7 series.

The Bentley reeks of Quality and exquisite hand-craftsmanship.

Enough said..time for some more pics..this time lets get some nice exterior shots!

That is very kind of you. But as I am absolutely new to the forum (one of my first posts here) I kept it formal.

That car is regal in every way imaginable and seeing these photos makes my belief even more concrete that this car manufacturer knows what they're doing. The outside of the car is as spectacular to look at as I am sure it is to drive.

Once again,absolutely brilliant. Congratulations

Thanks Sportygellar, Avishar, speedfreak01, Taronish and sagarpadaki for your kind words and compliments on the house. Its my brothers recently constructed residence.

It was designed inhouse and is modeled on old havelis and the Ananda Spa, Rishikesh.
