That clears everything. I saw the Maroon one immediately the next day it was all in the papers that he had bought one. So he had two. How convenient.

Yep. He brought one each for himself and his wife. And now its being used to 'transport' his sons & his friends to thier school at BKC. :-)

One in Pune, the Manikchand Maybach.
Somehow the Maybach has not quite caught an Indian's fancy and niether has it caught any other country's fancy I presume.
It looks horrible, and is more expensive than a Rolls. Thats what killed the enthusiasm I think.
The same treatment will be metted out to Rolls if they venture to make a cheaper car to target the S Class buyer. The sales may plunge upwards but the snob circle will dismiss it as then it would not be that exclusive a car thereby sacrificing the company's la de dah image.

Which series is the S600 stretch, as it was his father's car, no chance to be W221, so ma be W140 or W220!

Dude, ok that I know, but whats is his S600's colour & has he got more than one S600s. Also does he has a R or a GL-class or both. One of my importer friend from Mumbai told he has got a R, but recently one of the Ambanis got new GL!
