Back then the Q7 was the hot favourite. Now the RR Vogue has taken the place. A lot of them (some down south too) have switched to the Vogue.

The car is wearing MH 02 BB 2 number plate with a custom VIP emblem on the number plate. Both are against the rules, so why is this car allowed to have the number in improper format? Is that power of a VVIP or any special provision to allow number in that format?

Haha this is a small thing compared to some supercars posted which go through multiple owners while still on temporary plates.

Man, Range Rovers have really taken over Bollywood. I think they are the perfect clientele for Range Rovers because they:

- Care for style & image above all else

- Care for classy designs

- Don't care about acquisition costs. Even moderately successful ones aren't price sensitive. "1 crore" is the new "50 lakhs".

- Will speak to brand heads directly when things go wrong. Will receive service on a silver platter.

- Have backup cars when things go wrong.

- 1 to 2 lakh rupee service bills are pocket change, managed by their PAs & accountants.

- These celebrities change cars frequently, so won't own a Range Rover long enough to complain about, when the major problems start.

I was surprised to see the Deols holding their Range Rovers and Porsches for long. I read they are fans of these brands.

I also read somewhere that Sunny Deol took his Range Rover to the Himalayas as well. So they are putting some of these machines to good use as well.

I wonder how their experience has been after owning the RRs for long.

Few other actors also own the previous gen Range Rovers. Is it inspite of poor reliability or have they had good experience with the cars?
