Hope U didn't misunderstand Munnem, Mammootty has got new Q7 & a 525d with M-kit. He also has got a Pajero for rough use for some locations.

Mohanlal has ordered a ML320 CDI, but as he is at Kargil for his new movie shooting its beign delayed.

Mean time, the new upcoming young star Prithviraj has bought a new Q7 with ABT kit & lot of loadings.

Dileep mean while is interested in X5, but he is waiting to complete his new project, I ment the 'Twenty-20' in which most of the famous Malayalam movie artist staring. He is producing the movie.

I also heard that Sai Kumar has got a new BMW, don't know the series.

Also he is a partner in 2 of the most swankiest clubs in the city. That contributes largely to his wealth.

As far as Zayed is concerned, he said in one of his interview, that he learnt to drive on a Merc C which was his first car as well. Wonder what he is driving now.

While you are right that DJs make a decent packet, the 'upto' figure is way off. Aqeel is the priciest DJ and will charge way more than that for a 'night'. And remember, for him a 'night' is an hour or two max. The rest will be played by his cronies.

In similar territory, would be DJs Suketu, Akbar, Akhtar etc.

However I have never seen Akbar and Akhtar behind the wheels of anything more lavish than a NHC and Skoda Octavia respectively.

@razrman and B&T: Aqueel earns in the lakhs for a set, depends on venue and what kind of party it is...40-50 grand is what regular guest DJs earn...

Aqueel is also India's richest DJ so yes...And if Aqueel plays a set at a club it's only around 30-50 mins...

Akbar Sami is a very simple person, and he generally doesn't use flashy cars...
