The GLS seems to be the hot new favourite in Bollywood. Anil Kapoor got one delivered today.

As the Range Rover vogue is ending its life cycle and also getting rather common in Bollywood, I see the GLS and X7 gathering some momentum at least until the new gen RR is out.

Surprised not many Bentaygas have made it to the bollywood circle yet.

Actor Arjun Kapoor has added ( or swapped his Maser) for the new Land Rover Defender 110, in addition I remember reading somewhere about another newbie actor who had acquired a LR Defender just when it was launched, however I don't recall his name.

That would be actor Aayush Sharma, who picked up a black Defender 110 some time last year and was amongst the first few customers of the new Defender in India.

I reckon the Defender will become very popular with the Bollywood crowd.

- Badge. Check. The layman doesn't know the difference between a Land Rover & Range Rover.

- Far cheaper than the luxurious Range Rovers.

- Extremely stylish.

For me the biggest surprise was Kartick Aryan getting an Urus. I normally thought Urus would be something only the A listers of Bollywood would be getting.

But nevertheless , it's good to see Bollywood biggies moving on to brands like JLR and Range Rovers, Maserati over and above the common 3 Big Germans. Also they tend to shift to a few particular brand all together. Maybe they discuss within themselves or it might just be the goodwill of the brand . Any thoughts ?

Well, as per reports he charged 20 crores for a 10 day shoot. So he is definitely well into the big league now. Urus, even though is a big purchase, will not be a far fetched one for him. Also, reportedly he paid a substantial sum to get it imported by air.

Yes, but instead of the car being shipped to India in a container via ocean (as with most cars), the buyer here paid extra (since air freight is significantly more expensive) to get his car "shipped" via air, so he could get the car sooner.

This dude seems to have quite some taste in cars. Apart from the Urus, I believe he also has a Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII, a Ferrari California T and a Merc AMG GT S. He had a Huracan too which made way for the Urus. Evidently, he is a singer more by passion than by profession

Yes a Phantom VIII, a California T, AMG GT S as well as a G63 AMG, a Range Rover Sports SVR, a Ghost and a Cooper. Quite a tasteful garage indeed.
