Whats with Audi handing /selling display or test drive cars to Bollywood stars. Vahan shows this car as belonging to Skoda/VW. Do these cars ever get transferred or is the whole thing just a publicity stunt?

I think they have made a Opex plan out of this - let the car do Bollywood event runs for someone who is limelight at present and have some Page3 clicks published on regular basis. Win Win for all - car recipient, their PR companies and Audi itself. After 3 years or so, they will either take car back or replace with another model if the person is still famous

News of this Audi delivery is already running on most news websites. It shows the media has been engaged to highlight it as much as possible. It's a good way to garner public attention towards an otherwise flop model.

If it's the same video as this, then it's the X3 MSport and not the X5, BMW has played it very smartly where a X1 looks like a X3, X3 looks like a X5.

MBIL seems to be targeting Bollywood well of late. Not sure if they are given discounts but they definitely get allocation preferences as seen with the GLS Maybach.
Even the MBIL MD said at a launch interview that most of the Maybach customers are below 40 and are part of the film industry.
The S580 Maybach CKD also was first spotted before launch with Shahid Kapoor’s test drive and more recently with Saif and Kareena too.
The Maybach brand name is the ultimate status symbol for Bollywood in recent times and I reckon the S class Maybach will find a home with several top stars in coming weeks.

Several such as Karan Johar, Rani Mukherjee, Jacky Bhagnani, Bachans, Roshan’s, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer, etc to name a few have had the S500 Maybach and will probably soon upgrade to the new S Maybach. There are not many other luxury sedans they can upgrade to besides the Bentley or Rolls.
Customer deliveries have begun. A friend just got his delivered today.

Her RR Ghost EWB has been on sale for a while now but I am pretty positive the car got sold off to a businessman in Raipur, Chattisgarh. The car has been seen often there and the said family has at least 3 other Rolls-Royces. Their cars visit Bangalore often so maybe that's where the confusion stemmed from, unless the said Raipur guys have sold the car again.
