Re: Bollywood Stars and their Cars

Most superbikes like Kawasakis, Triumph, MV Augusta are similar come thru private importers only like in the past. Only difference is that the duty is now appropriately paid unlike the old times.

The bike is a gift, but the dealer does the logistics and taxes. Sorry should have written brought and not bought via a dealer or importer.

Also any idea about approximate cost of this bike?
The private importer took care of the logistics and taxes. MV Agusta are not yet in India and all bikes are direct imports. This bike is the only one in India as far as i know but there are one or two MV Agusta's in India.
I am not aware of how much this bike costs as i am not a bike person.

Nope, there is one in Bangalore for a long while now.

I think the F4 costs somewhere around 25lacs, so the Brutale should be just under the 20 mark.

Here is the B'lore one from xBhp.

There are a couple of brutales in India and now quiet a few f4. There were a couple of them imported just this year and if I'm not entirely wrong the last one went to Chandigarh and another one is on it's way to India

Scorcher got it spot on on the pricing front. Though with the current hike in taxes and falling rupee it's somewhere abt 28 for the f4

Re: Bollywood Stars and their Cars

Sridevi has gifted her hubby Boney Kapoor a Meteor Grey Metallic colour Porsche Cayenne post success of her comeback film English Vinglish.

I would say that's the dream. To have a wife like Sridevi and then she gifting you an equally gorgeous machine.

Re: Bollywood Stars and their Cars

I think the Meteor Gray Porsche Cayenne was just a exibit car....

In reality, they own a 2012 White Porsche Cayenne S with full Brown Interior

See attached Pics.

For what? to gift it to her, and then keep driving and enjoying it all by himself?

Is it Big B in the back seat of the Cooper S?

I guess it's common for celebs to gift cars to their kids. SRK gifted 6 series or 7 series to his son right? Anyways, Big B, Jaya B and Ash along with her daughter took delivery of the car as per the reports.

Re: Bollywood Stars and their Cars

I guess the car will be used primarily to ferry the daughter around. Otherwise, it's gonna be another 17 years before she can legally drive a car - at which point she may not want to be seen in an antique Mini Cooper

If my eyes work fine, he is the one who's driving it.

SRK gifted the 650i convertible to his wife, Gauri Khan, not son.

Anil Ambani, I think, bought a Gallardo for his 10 year old son, in which he was chauffeured to school at times. Haven't heard of the car since the accident though.

Remember reading somewhere that he gifted one to his son. Was it Audi A6? Think that's the one. Anyhow - lucky them

Re: Bollywood Stars and their Cars

The back seat isn't meant for full size adults anyways so baby Aradhya should be very comfortable there, a child seat is all she needs!
