Ya I'm sure. Used to see it outside the tattoo studio on Carter. It was driven behind him when he and Arshad were filming the road sequence on that scooter for a song in Munnabhai.

SRK has a 7 Series, a white Q7 and a white 6 series convertible. He may have the odd Hyundai too.

Bollywood seems to have taken a great liking for the new S Class (W221). Was at a movie premiere and the parking lot had around 5 new S Classes. Others included the regular LX470s and and H2.

Whenever Ritiesh Deshmukh comes to Pune at his uncle's place (his uncle's bunglow is next to mine in Baner) he comes in his new white S Class. He had an white E-class earlier, now passed on to his younger brother, while his elder brother has a white colored Range Rover.
(his elder brother can be considered as a celebrity since he is married to a television actress)

The new S-classes I know in the Bollywood

Munna Bhai - S500 Black
Aishwary Bachan - S350 Andronite grey
Ritiesh Deshmukh - S320 CDI White
Karan Jouhar - S320 CDI White
Yash Chopra - S350 Carneal Red

I guess Govinda has also got a new S.

Anyway is the superstition that 3-pointed star is unlucky still exist in Bollywood?

Is it the same one that he had earlier refused, when it was offered to him by ravi chopra as a gift for his guest appearance in bhoothnath?

Bollywood has always has car connoisseurs. Well they were the guys to have the money too. Now they are joined by Builders, Industrialists and the more recent Politicians and Cricketers.
Bollywoods love affair with the wheels has been legendary.
Mehmood was one car lover who owned from the humble Honda Civic 800 to the Corvette Stingray convertible.
Then there were loyalists like the Kapoor family who loved Buicks.
Actor Pran swore by Volvos and had three at a particular time.
I guess superstition plays its role even here.
Sunil Dutt always had exotic sports cars. I recollect seeing from a 230SL Pagoda top, to a BMW 316 Alpina coupe, to a Mach-I Mustang amongst others in his stables.
Ranjeet had a Barracuda while Rakesh Roshan a Camaro.
Rajesh Khanna loved his Chevies and also had a Lotus Elan.
Raj Kumar's love with his white cars with black racing stripes was well known. All his cars, the Belair, Jeep, Herald, VW Variant, Mercedes coupe, all had the same colour scheme.
Sanjeev Kumar in his slimmer days loved VWs. He owned a semi automatic Beetle, A microbus and a Karmann Ghia amongst other things.
Singer Kishore Kumar also loved cars and had a long list of exotics.
The list can go on and on. They had the money but only few had the heart for these cars and unfortunately, the cars changed with their fancies. At least these collectibles are now with more deserving owners.
Back then, there were phases as there are, even now.
At one time, from the late sixties it was the Chevy fever. Impalas, Biscaynes and Belairs were running amok. Convertibiles, sedans and even station wagons.
Then came the era of VW Microbuses. Almost every actor worth his or her salt had to have one.
That was followed by Mercedes which has somehow remained and then the SUV fever. Ushered in by none other than the Mitsubishi Pajero, which held its position as the most favoured SUV of Bollywood till the Land Cruiser came in. It was raining 101s and LX 470s and even now they are quite prefered.
As the self driven option, the Porsche Cayenne also has its buyers but its not a cult following. Q7s are also being lapped up with gusto.
Bollywood has always wanted to make a statement whether it was their clothes or cars. The more noticeable and kitschy, the better. Thats why exotics were and are seeked by Bollywood.
Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, (though I dont know of a single Bollywood person owning a Bull, I may be wrong here) the Hummer, etc, etc, the list goes on.
In the my car is better, bigger and more expensive than yours club, theres never a moment when someone is not trying to out do the other.
Cars are probably the first step.
Ho Humm....!!

Wow Gogi!

Am amazed how they managed to get those cars in during a restricitive regime those days and not too many people returning from the gulf (people were going there at that time!)

Its still around in Bombay. Ashok Kumar's Riley was in Hyderabad with fellow BHPian Sukumar, later coming to Pune and currently at Kolhapur I think.
