zayed khan had a yellow/black cbr...in which he had an accident and sold later on and bought his wife diamond neckless from the money.

When my Dad used to go to school in 1960s, he used to wait for Don Bosco's Blue coloured bus to arrive at 8:10 am. He used go and stand near the gate at 8:00 am sharp. Why? Between 8:00 am to 8:10 am, few famous actors like Pran, Shashi Kapoor, Sanjay Khan etc used to pass in their convertibles, hardtops etc. This was almost everyday, on Lady Jamshedji Road, Shivaji Park.
I will ask him which other actors and their cars did he see.

I would like to start with the First Family of Bollywood - The Kapoor Family.

Among the Kapoor family I would like to start with Shamsherraj Kapoor aka Shammi Kapoor. He loved cars. Following is the list that he owned in the past.

1) Buick Super Convertible - BMY 3009. (his favourite)
2) Desoto
3) Chevy Belair
4) Chevy Impala
5) Chevy Intercontinental Convertible
6) Ford Thunderbird
7) Sunbeam Alpine
8) Triumph
9) Malibu
10) Fiats
11) Jeeps

About Feroze khan..he has an S class..seen the pic in the papers some years ago.

Feroze Khan used to have a 230 sl (used in a moviewith Hema Malini), a cadillac brouham if i remember right 90's model (saw him getting off it once), a landcruiser and couple of mercs (115's included). there were other american classics in his stable too.

Back in the day he used to have a 116 Mercedes 450 SEL, amongst others.

The heroine Tanuja drives an opulent red convertible MRZ 2233 wearing white gloves, which breaks down strategically (for the storyline) and is towed by Elephants kept by hero Rajesh Khanna.

The movie was Chinnapa Devar's Hindi remake of his Tamil movie, Nalla Neram, starring MGR and K. R. Vijaya. The song, "Ahattumda Thambi Raja" became "Chal chal mere saathi" That car was a 1958 Chevrolet Impala registered MRZ 2233 owned by Raju.

The car is now powered by a diesel engine. Its license plate has also changed from MRZ 2233 to TMZ 2233. The car is never driven except for the few minutes of movie shooting.

There was some news that Ajay Devgan had sold his Maserati Quattroporte and is planning to get even expensive one? Also his Maserati was only one in Mumbai!!

there are a few other masers in bombay. his isnt the only one. about 2-3 more quattroportes and 3 grantourismos.

I think it maybe sold as I have been seeing it at Pali Hill numerous times driven by a couple who seem to be the new owners/dealer!! Someone I know was offered the devgan car 8 months ago but devgan apprently changed his mind, then again I have seen it advertised by many dealers with pictures. Last week an upcountry collector was taking a test drive in Bandra...net..net it is with dealers!!!!

i have myself seen 2 maserat quatroporte ( maybe spelling mistake) cars in mumbai

the devgan was the creamish color and there is one more dark grey colored.

There are more than 2 Quattroportes in Mumbai . Devgan's was white, there are two other grey ones doing the rounds.
