Pics : Aston Martin DB9 in Mumbai

Finally - I got to spot an Aston Martin on the road. And it was none other than a DB9. We were on a leisure drive on Carter Road, Bandra - when we saw this parked on the road. We almost reached behind it and the car started to move. Managed a few pics since the owner was driving very slowly - maybe still in run-in period. I was hoping the owner would rev the car a bit - but he was being damn careful with the car.

Saw her on Friday at bandra, she had an excort car then and looks really stunning. The wheel option also chosen by the owner enhance the beauty of the car further.

Is that a DBS or a DB9?

That's very much a DB9 buddy. The DBS has more taut lines, a more pronounced spoiler and most importantly (and evidently as well), the huge rear diffuser.

If it is the whitened tail lamps that confused you, that is the part of a silent update from AM

@V12: What car you were in? Seems like you have clicked most of the pics hanging out of window?

Anyway back to topic beautiful car, I remember seeing one here in Delhi in black color but I feel that was not the best color to accentuates the taut line of this British beauty.

Another pic of the DB9 from Supercars & Exotics in India Facebook page. Looks sweet, but I'd still have its evil twin, the DBS

Arguably the most elegantly styled sports GT that your money can buy. The Italians have yet to respond. Has AM started selling in In India or is this an Import? Why the yellow plates ??

You're wrong, the Italians had responded, and how, did you forget the existence of the 599 GTB and the GranTurismo?

Yes, Aston now has an official dealer in Mumbai and this is an official import. The yellow plates, that is a temporary registration.

Looks gorgeous in that white shade. It's wearing the wheels from the Vantage S! Wasn't there another DB9 in Bombay or is this the first one?

I almost thought it was the brand new Virage. It's so hard to differentiate Astons these days. The Virage has made matters worse, and now I can't differentiate between the DB9 and the Virage.

No one would want reflections of the flash or a hazy photo, especially while taking pictures of an Aston, and that too when the Sun isn't around. I would 'hang-out' too!

Why does this one has a yellow number plate? I can't imagine an Aston Martin being a taxi in India!

Pretty simple for the time being actually, the Virage, like the Rapide has only has one projector and the DB bros have two. And the Virage has a unique rear diffuser different from both the DBs.

Things shall get complicated when the new DB9 arrives as the new one caught testing looks bang on similar to the Virage, except for the rear looks like the Vantage/Rapide (number plates on the bumper)
