Firstly, its Gumpert Apollo, not the other way round.

I would really be surprised if they manage to sell even one.

Why?

No one ever heard about it in India
No snob value
No creature comforts
Bone-shattering ride
Exorbitant price tag
Not many tracks in the country for this track-oriented hyper car
Not at all futuristic, or anything even close in the aesthetics department
Many better options available for a lot less, including the LP700 and 599

But this one is third on the list of fastest cars around the Top gear test track! and cheaper than the one that's second
Though I would still stick to the first one on that list myself :)

InterGlobe Group seem to be on a car launching spree! Do these guys even have a showroom? I hope they get either a Gumpert or a Koeninsegg as a display car atleast.

Nope, many of those are excluded from the Power Lap board as they don't meet the following norms:

If not road legal
If not production version
If it runs on slicks

The current list is:

Ariel Atom 500 V8 1:15.10
McLaren MP4-12C 1:16.20
Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 1:16.50
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport 1:16.80
Gumpert Apollo Sport 1:17.10

But I think jaygeetee is referring to a slightly older list when Gumpert was third after the Atom 500 V8 (1st) and Veyron Super Sport (2nd).

I love this car!!
This is the car I drive in Need for Speed Shift 2 currently, and it sure is competent enough to out class Veyron, Carrera GT, Zonda, CCX and all. I think, I have made the right choice in selecting this car in the game over the others, considering it is real VFM and with the full works conversion, it is, as they say, as good as it gets.
I am loving it.

so the maclaren is a fast car eh, I need to catch that episode.

I guess these hypercars are launched solely for exclusive enthusiasts such as Singhania's garage. I dont see a Ratan Tata driving around one of these.
