Sorry to dishearten you but stopped right outside Shangrila yesterday as well just to check and there's an Aston under the cover waiting to be delivered or one of the TD cars. No Bugatti here. Besides the Bugatti dealership for New Delhi is with Exclusive Motors, no relation with Rolls Royce Dealership at Shangrila just to clear the air. So there are more chances of someone spotting the Veyron around the Samrat Hotel compound in Chanakyapuri.

Why would Bugatti invest in officially launching the car in India when the production has stopped?

Production has not been stopped. They have all been booked. The cars are very much being made. Also, Out of the 150 Gransports that they were going to make, not all are booked yet.

Bugatti has axed the production of only the Veyron 16.4 Coupe when it reached its predetermined production number of 300, the GranSport is still available, only until the number reaches 150. Wonder if any SS will make it to India, in the World Record Livery

I don't think any manufacturer sticks to the limited number that they say. After all money can buy anything. Offer them a few grands extra and Bugatti will make one for you

I doubt a few grand of anything would work here. More like a couple hundred thousand, maybe a mil.

+1 to that. Especially considering that VW loses money on every Veyron they produce.

Each car is very much numbered. And yes, most manufacturers do stick to a certain number of "Production" cars.

EDIT: @Scorcher, The Gran Sport is the Convertible. The Supersport was the World record car...

I am very much aware of that bro, what made you think otherwise? The GranSport is a retractable hardtop convertible. The production was axed only of the Veyron 16.4 Coupe (the last car being a weird shade of sunburned orange which was sold to Europe), so I thought some of the limited WC SS might still be up for grabs

But now, they have come up with a new one off, Veyron GranSport L'Or Blanc. With lots of Porcelain bits inside and out and a uber cool price tag of 2.4m $.

What you see on the car is not a reflection, seems they have gone a bit overboard with the designs on the car.
