The cayenne and the carrera in Faridabad (not disclosing the sector), are owned by a very famous footware maker's family. This family also owns a Phantom and a hayabusa. Have seen both the porsches loads of times there. And the news about the family owning a Phantom and a Hayabusa is confirmed from multiple reliable sources, though I never got a chance to see them myself.

Godspeed.

I don't know what the national obsession with the Hayabusa is. If you're rich, buy a Busa. If you can't ride a bike and are still rich, buy a Busa, hang it on the mantlepiece. Bakwaas.

aniguchisan is either referring to poser bikers or people who want something to show off that indicates their position in the social hirarchy. But then, this is the very same reason why people buy ferrari's, lambos, mercs and the likes of them, even if they gonna be chauffer driven or they are rarely gonna take their rides out!

They buy it for the image or the show-off factor they hold. For example, this chap in Faridabad I knew bought himself a swift just for the reason that his favourite actor drove it in a movie (Bunty Aur Bubbly if i'm not wrong), and thought he looked good in it. It's like, hey, Abhishek drove a swift so even I should, it might give me the same image it gave him!

Or mabe the only SBK these chaps are aware of is the Busa!

Godspeed.

Yes ghostrider, the Busa's been overhyped in India, and is right ahead of the R1...the second most overhyped bike. YES, they're excellent machines, but no...they end up in the wrong hands...

Yes, same reason for the Ferraris and Lambos....unless you're truly enthusiastic about such motors.

This thread was started with a wrong title and with nothing much to report. In addition, after 3 replies it went completely off-topic.
