It isn't what the S-class used to be. It's too cheesy to be the flagship model. The Beemer was always "look @ me" and the A8 was always understated elegance. The S-class was always the best of both worlds. The facelifted one, however is too in-your-face. And this seems to be the problem with all new mercs, except the E-class. Now that looks FANTASTIC. Anyways, not to start off another argument, to each his own. I just stated my opinion. I'd take the A8 over this now.

S400 bluehybrid has been launched in the US. V6 mated with electric motor and LiON battery. any idea if its coming to IND.

Mate, its nio Lion battery, but Lithium-Ion battery. No information of it debut to India so far!

liON is the short form for lithium ion.

i think Lithium-ion's abbrevation is 'Li-ion' and not 'LiON'

No the blue hybrid isn't being launched in India. We are concentrating on creating awareness about the BlueEfficiency technology which we have introduced in the new E 350 CDI variant.It's on the similar lines as BMW's Efficient Dynamics.

Also just a small info, now on all Mercedes - Benz engines would be named in incremental order of 50, as in you would have the 200,250,300 and so on.No more 230,280,320 cdi. This implementation would happen over the course of time.

The new E-Class comes with with the 350CDI BlueEfficiency engine.the engine specifications are very impressive:
here it goes.228 Bhp(though less than the 240 of the 3.0TDi Audi) produces more torque than the Audi and impressive 54.4 kgm that's 3 kgm more than the Audi.
Also comes with the famed 7-G tronic gearbox.
This is the best in the segment now.I feel.

I agree with Sahil. I remember seeing a white Merc CL500 with such wheels in Dubai some time back. I guess these are Lowenhart.

This is a friends car and she also has a white Hummer H3, a Q7. The wheels alone costed 6 lakhs. If i remember right they are 20" or 22" wheels. They were ordered by another friend as he was thinking of getting a white S class but then stuck to his normal car colour of black. I like this car alot
