the new generation S is sadly a disappointment for me, the back is excatly picked up from the 7 series. .. .and the new S lacks the GRANDEAUR the old S used to have around them. .. .

The boot lid of same type was first seen in Maybach than in 7-series..During the `96 Tokyo Motor Show, the Mercedes first showed thier Maybach concept as Merc brand..So I firmly believe that Chris Bangle copied the Merc.

hanmust you are right by telling that C.Bangle has copied mercedess-benz design.Really the new S Class has more agressive than the older one more presence. But is more beautyful than the 7 series.tHE bmw HAS GOT POWERFUL DESIGN AND BUT LACK OF FINESSE

Iridium silver is one of the least attractive colour of whole colour combinations..O.Black, white, C.Red, C.Silver, etc are best choice for the W221.

Chris bangle is again adopting the design of Merc..the next-gen 7-series is more radical than the present one..

Mercedes S Class

Spotted Sanjay Dutt's new Mercedes S Class in the area. Mr Dutt and Vivek Oberoi were at Kareem's for the shooting of "Shootout at Lokhandwala". The film is based on the real-life 14-hour encounter between cops and gangsters (from underworld) in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala area in 1991.

The S Class easily has more presence than the W220. The W220 never had the luxurious presence which the W221 sports. Mr Dutt had taken off the W220's spinners before giving it away. Was it meant for this one?! We hope he gets them back on this car.

And yes, I've always wondered whether the car was smaller than the W220. No, it isn't. Its in fact longer. Look at its size compared to that DC van.

Apart from the S Class, there was a Porsche Cayenne too. Wonder who's it was. Had some minor trouble clicking pics, since there were a LOT of people crowding. Surprisingly, thanks to the police, they cleared them and I had some nice shots of the car.
