Its not chrome strip but LEDs and its there in all facelifted W221s.

Spotted near Lilavati this evening. While I was clicking a few snaps, a bird decided to take a dump on it. Sigh.

Was it a left hand drive by any chance? I thought the 550 was only for LHD markets.

No.It was a RHD.It was parked here for many days.The owner has a Lexus LX-470 too

Yup I've seen that one several times before. It's on carnet running DXB plates. Have pics in the dark but not too clear.

I doubt that is a 550. AFAIK 550s are made in only LHD and this one is supposed to be RHD.

Nope. There is a UK Spec S550 4matic if my memory serves me correct.

Aah didnt see that. Someone had mentioned somewhere that this was RHD hence the doubt.

Cyrus - I think the 550 engines are only for the US market. I just checked the UK site and there is no 550.
