What do you think the reason could be? In such group drives, the most probable reason is driver error. Group driving dynamics are somewhat different than individual drives. Drivers who are finding it difficult to keep up with the pace can make a silly mistake very easily.

I had been part of a pile-up in a group drive once. Second time I had seen a car in front of me flying off the road since it took the corner a bit too fast.

In the M3's case, heard through FB that it also missed a corner and hit a tree and totaled.

Has the event been called off owing to the accident?

SL55 AMG - A Figo rear-ended the SL while trying to click pics. He almost crashed into the LP560 a couple of times, close miss.

M3 Cabrio - We stopped too cool off for a couple of minutes, had a small chat among the drivers, I said to the M3 driver that he was driving very well in the twists. We set off, the next corner, he put the car in a ditch. Uprooted a teak tree too. Seeing the car, it was be hard to believe the occupants came out unscathed. God's grace.

Whoo... that's a whole lot of supercars! Love the 350Z , i feel it is making a bold statement among the big boys. I thought the NFS BMW-M3 was getting some serious upgrades from Pete's. I was hooked on to FB page for more news of it!
