Naveen, yea mate, I got some "stuff" comin' up. I accompanied the drive too, it was an experience to see all these machinery dance in the rain!

Rosh, I was an invited by Peter and was a guest, not a participant.

Also, I'd say the show-stealer was not the Fezza but the Gallardo, I am not saying this cos as many would know, I am a Lamborghini fan, its simply because I saw that guy driving it. God! He knew how to. Pure V10 orchestra for almost 10kms, in the rain. Nirvana!

Sadly the LP560 had to go home from Angamaly as the owner had a funtion to attend and many couldn't see it in action.

He must have been doing some serious speed to uproot that tree . From the looks of it, the car seems to have skidded (rains,understeer?) and missed a right hand curve. The dent from the tree trunk can be seen on the passenger side of the hood.I think it can be repaired though. Even the windshield is intact. Thank god no one was hurt.

A crash like this in a demo drive. That is some very careless driving I suppose. Happy to hear that the occupants are safe. I think someone will go to court for banning these sort of activities pointing this incident in the future.

Coincidentally even the previous owner of this 350Z also had a Supra before !!

Kings' rides were absent. The Calicut R8 (red) was there. See its pics posted in the 2nd page. 350Z belongs to a guy from Quilon who earlier had a red Supra and the red 6 series belongs to the BMW dealer.
And, yes, the blue M3 is the one featured in Mammootty's film Pokkiriraja; owned by the film's producer.

Thanks for sharing the pictures guys. Should have been quite a yeast to watch the beauties drive on the street.

But such shows are a big gamble. Reason, Figo rear-ending a Merc and the destroyed M3 are the negatives of an otherwise superb event.

One question... Who pays for the damages? (of choose, the insurance does), but who will bear the cost not covered by insurance? The organizer? The owner? Our the Driver (in the case of Merc, the Figo guy?

Oh yes, you are right. I thought the red R8 was the TVM one. The M3 was simply an amazing car. What a shame.

I'm sure the organizers will ask the participants of the rally to sign a document indemnifying them from liabilities that may arise with regard to accidents that may occur during the show. Insurance should take care of some of the costs.

The owner himself will have to bear the costs. I dont think a Figo owner can pay the repair bills of a supercar!

What I'm looking forward to know is the future of the wrecked M3.
