A Morgan 3 Wheeler, assumed to be on Carnet, has been spotted in Mumbai. It was on display at Phoenix Market City as well as Palladium, Phoenix Mills.

if the engine is right in the front - i wonder what's under the hood

Is this anew import , carnet or vintage . Please inform me if this is still on display ?

Carnet. It's brought here for the promotion of a fashion brand SuperDry, which recently entered the Indian market. Since the stores were at Phoenix Market City and Phoenix Mills, it was displayed there. No idea about its current location. A pic clicked by a friend at Phoenix Market City -

One of these was featured in an episode of TOP GEAR, remember seeing it about couple of months ago!

It's an amazing little car, this Morgan 3. I had a chance to get up close with it couple of days back here in CO. Some pictures...

That is pretty sexy!!

I happened to spot this on display at Phoenix MarketCity, Kurla, Mumbai. Didn't have the digicam with me so had to shoot with my E72. Couldn't get a complete side profile due to the limited space and capability of the camera. So spare me for the bad snaps. I am going to try search what it is. But if somebody knows a bit or two, do throw up some light this way too and enlighten me.

Under the hood is the complete drivetrain system, gearbox etc, feebly visible in the 3rd pic above. I couldn't get a good shot of it.

IIRC, it was featured last season along with a Caterham and a KTM. Looks hot with the moustache type silencers curving all the way fron the face of the car.


This particular trike has a 2.0 litre engine producing ~120 horses and a gearbox from a Mazda.

The other day I was speaking to my friend about this very three wheeler and it is now on the forum. They episode on BBC Top Gear with the Caterham and Morgan going head to head was epic. The sound of the exposed engine and handling is commendable.
