| ![]() Some moments in life are special and recieving a Lamborghini Aventador at our shop was one of them. The agenda was to achieve a better exhaust note , add power, reduce weight, no drone , no ECU errors. We opted to go with one of the best exhaust companies in the business, Capristo exhaust Germany. Capristo are the leaders in exhaust systems for exotic cars and have won awards, beating well known rivals. Capristo as a company, engineers exhaust systems for exotic cars on a daily basis; the Aventador is farily new and we at Racetech are one of the very few in the world and the first in South East Asia to install and also offer development feedback to Capristo on their new system. The beast arrives , ![]() ![]() Rear Bumpers removed ![]() OE Lamborghini Aventador exhaust ![]() Original catalytic converts and mufflers removed ![]() Capristo Exhaust Germany Mufflers for the Aventador, ![]() ![]() ![]() New Exhaust system Installed ![]() Now Racetech'ed ![]() ![]() Installation like OE : Check No ECU errors : Check No Drone : Check Considering this was our first Aventador exhaust install , everything went smoothly and without any surprises. We love the sound, Capristo claim an impressive 48ps bump in power, the owner of the car feels the car to be very strong midrange and pulls much harder. Some TBHP'ians have already heard the exhaust and for those who cant wait we will be uploading a video very soon. Back later, thank you for your support. | ![]() Damn, look at the muffler size, and replacement exhaust looks awsome. Btw,any ballpark figure for cost of the replacement exhaust, should be around cost of a average midsize car? |

| ![]() Holly Molly. Awesome work there Racetech. Eagerly waiting for the Video. One question, what material is the stock exhaust made of. I am assuming the Capristo one is made of stainless steel. The stock one looks to be made of some other material. Also even in the Aventador the finish of the stock exhaust does not match upto the finish of the Capristo. Any weight savings also from the exhaust? |

| ![]() Oh My my my !!! That is one huge, amazingly huge exhaust system. I have been left spell-bound by this first experience of mine to have a chance to look at this wonderful piece of engineering !! I can imagine what music to ears would the sound of that beast be. Waiting very eagerly for this video to come up !! ![]() |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() That is some unreal stuff guys ![]() I think it should sound something like this ; 48 ps bump in power is almost 6-7 % gain, hell that surely would make a world of a difference considering the weight savings as well. Also this being louder than the Stock system, does it have a remote operation to modulate the sounds/dB level ? Last edited by karan561 : 18th December 2012 at 14:55. |

| ![]() The exhaust is made of Stainless Steel The exhaust comes with a remote operation to modulate the sound db The stock exhaust system weighs 45Kgs, Ours weighs 25 kgs net saving of 20Kgs! Video is now live, watch in HD Last edited by moralfibre : 18th December 2012 at 18:10. Reason: Back to back posts. |

| ![]() I have been lucky just once to hear a Gallardo Revv hard on marine drive. The sound was just deafening and tearing ! I can just imagine how an Aventador would sound in real ; after all its the most powerful Raging-Bull. And after this exhaust set up it would be an eargasm.Thank you for the nice photos. Made my afternoon. ![]() On a lighter note, Racetech has mentioned that the owner felt the car pulled harder in mid-range after the mod. It sounded as if the owner found the car under powered earlier. ![]() -Bhargav |

| ![]() I swear I had goosebumps after listening to that sound ! I have read it somewhere and can correlate it here - "Its the sound of raw silk getting ripped". I have never in my life heard a car scream like this. Thanks once again for sharing. -Bhargav |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Sounds like music to the ears. As in the above video ^^, the cellphone fails to capture the high intensity sound. So, can just imagine the magnitude. Would kill to see/ hear this beast roar in person. Amazing work guys! ![]() The best part is, it throws out fireworks!!! ![]() Are these high volume exhausts permitted by the law? Additionally, after this modification, were there any other formalities that were required (as RTO suggests all modifications to be reported and made a note of)? Well, in Bangy, there are certainly "some" good roads where this can be driven. In Mumbai, one would run short on road, within the first 3 gears itself. Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Thats insane..! Superb work guys. Racetech is surely the best in performance upgrades. The roar of the beast is totally worth drooling. The size of the exhaust itself gave goosebumps to me. And after watching the video I am spellbound. ![]() BTW, that's a great video manish.asrani. ![]() Last edited by dZired : 18th December 2012 at 23:57. |
