Lamborghini will be launching the Aventador Roadster in India on January 25.
The Aventador Roadster has behind its occupants, the LP700-4 6.5 litre V12 motor which pumps out 700 PS. Transmission of the Aventador roadster is taken care by a single clutch 7 speed semi automatic


More details on the how much excise duty and import duty is levied on the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster by the Indian Govt., will be revealed on 25th January 2013.

Yup, you can. I just saw a post on FB page of SCC confirming presence of Aventador Roadster at super car show.

I am guessing the Launch is of the Audi R8 and not the Lamborghini LP700 Roadster as Audi is a sponsor to the event and their Logo is on the pass too.

All from the same VW family. Don't see why they would restrict the presence of the bigger brother.

The Roadster will be there along with the other supercars...I was only talking of the Launch of a car. Lamborghini or Audi both have not confirmed if its their car thats being Launched..so people are only speculating that its the Roadsters Launch. Audi sponsoring does tilt the scales to the R8's favour. It does not make me a difference as i like both the cars and would get to see them in the flesh.

Some reports suggests the car has already landed in India, some sites say the launch is before the SCI event and the car would simply be displayed at the show and some say that its not gonna come altogether.

Well, its hardly a week away, let's wait and find out

According to the media reports, R8 is already launched. The event was all star studded with the Race 2 film crew adding the glamour quotient (Well, quite subjective, as the R8 is already there covering each and every such glamour departments ).
But am yet to see the latest specs updated in their official site though.

The roadster will be rolled out on the 25th.
