McLaren Arrives In India

It has been confirmed that the first McLaren has arrived in Delhi.

Its expected at the Super Car Club Track day event on 11th and 12th February at Buddh International Circuit.

Thanks, very interesting. i've been trying to find some information on this Super Car Club Track event. Can't seem to find anything. Is it open to the general public? if so, where would I be able to find some more information?

The MP4-12C most probably. As Scorcher said, I'm hoping it's in Volcano Orange too. About time McLaren set foot here!

The McLaren is awesomely gorgeous in the Orange shade. I drive by the McLaren showroom in Palo Alto daily, and cannot just take my eyes off the car!

Any idea whether its a run of the mill MP4 or a limited edition/tuned one?Can't wait for the pictures.

If it is a Brand New Car, and if he does plan to Drive it on the Buddh International Circuit, then, what about the Running-In Period?

Also. Could it be a Used Import under the Transfer of Residence Scheme, maybe a Used MP4-12C or a Used SLR McLaren?

I don't think it could be a SLR . All SLRs are LHD . Or can a LHD be imported under the Transfer of Residence Scheme ?

True. SLRs are LHD, not RHD. Confused it with another Car. Sorry.

No, LHD Cars can't be Imported under the Transfer of Residence Scheme.

Yeah, can't be an SLR, must be an MP4-12C.

I hope it's the P1 display prototype that's making the round of the world at the moment. That would be killer, but I'm guessing that it's the MP4-12C in all probability.

according to the first post the car is already here so must be a 12C. I hope its in a nice shade of blue or something.

These cars would be company cars and possibly the LHD cars on carnet.

Sadly, there was no McLaren at the SCC track days this month, but there was a surprise visit by a Mr. Dave Richards!
