even if you ignore the front part and just concentrate on the B and C pillar omwards, you can see the 114/5 shape. Also note the 114/5 type of door handles. Also note the huge space below the grille....maybe he left it for the cold air intake :D
This is only a 114/5 conversion to a 123 what about when people went about converting contessas to 123s...form the front it was very difficult for the untrained eye to realise it was not a merc... U-G- H:mad:
how could you also forget the chrome frame above the dood distinctively 115. the crazy owners of condeses ( contessa and mercedes) the front was a mercedes and the rear a contessa. some of them would carry badges of contessa in the back and the mercedes grill in the front and mercedes wheel caps

cuz i my friend has a land cruiser which got stuck in the sanjay bhandari case and was confiscated by the dri 2 years ago... and it looked exactly same..........pls reply.....
v10 you are right the car is at the dri compound . there were two white land cruisrers there. your friend could have paid the penalty and cleared the car. i wonder why he did not do it. he can still get the car back the amount is minimal now. the cars might go into auction and then you would end up paying a larger amount for them as the dealers would get involved.
this is the other landcruiser that is gathering dust.
speedy there is something beside the LC which looks like an M-class
but i must admit india's case is far better than that of IRAN i ve got the pics of irans customs i have some pics from skyscrapercity

i tried to post the pics but they are not supported by image shack
spot on amatmo that is an ML in the background. have seen the cars of iran rotting and gathering dust. in singapore also you would find cars gathering dust before they get scrapped. some of the cars look brand new.
in india it is only once in a while that the customs officers open their eyes.

yes please do post the picture am eagerly waiting to see a dieing rolls. like gogi bhai said state a reason also for the car being left to rot. you have the mods approval also.

no problem, hopefully you shall have better luck next time you look for it, you never know you might just come across some other dieing cars too. sharjah abu dhabi car market alot of cadillacs there.
