i know i tried calling the guy but he does'nt take my calls anymore. i think he got offended nitin as he is well off, but i was only trying to help. i have'nt stoped trying though maybe someday i get a call to take the car

i agree with you 1100. i've seen so many cars rotting just for their owners sentments. i had even offerd to restore the cars at my cost but it all fell to deaf ears. the cars lye in their graves right now

Right said speedy, donno how people dump such beauties,i remember in Dehradun i saw a Black Beemer probably 316i 2 door version half buried junked up and lot of tall grass around it. It was parked in the backyard of the house.the condition was so pathetic, couldnt gather courage to click a pic of it.

hmm. Not doubting what your uncle owns, but I still think that pic is of a 3 series. I don't remember the E39 with those tail lights or the slight semi-circular cut outs below the headlights.

it appars to be in rather good condition....wonder why it is

abandoned...besides 3 series is not a pain to manuver in city...most of the cars that i have seen abandoned is because they are a pain to move around on small roads and traffic

Are these cars abandoned due to the DRI investigation into the hotel scam. The value of the car is now lower than the penalty, that too with the latest 3 available in the showrooms

you guys know better, if you say its 3 then it must beagree: . this is one of the car the DRI had confisticated and is dumped by the owners. the cars are going for about 15lacs is what i have been told. this is one of them there are a few more. landcruisers, prado, bmw x5, harrier (lexus model). some of the cars are under litigation. owner against government.

That is a E46 3-Series, no doubt about that. It's not an E39,

Not an e39 rtech. Its an e46 just like iraghava says.

Yep, it is a 3 series. 2004 - 2005 model 3xxi to be precise. Only those year models came with the clear tail light and indicators factory fitted. The 325's and previous year 330's had amber tail lights and side markers.
