But this looks like a different car, I mean the color seems to be a different shade of blue.

The "King's" car had a very dark shade, close to deep blue/black IIRC.

I felt the same.

King's car seemed to be a darker shade of blue from the pictures. Then again, this was apparently found in Bangalore.

Did we have one like this here?

The King's cars are still on roads and are being frequently spotted. Also, his RRG is in a Deep Sea Blue shade.

Found on Instagram. Looks like a police impound and the rolls seem to have a slight dent on the right bumper as well.

Nevertheless, sad to see her in this state
Any updates about this RR?
Here's a pic of a Ghost from KL that was recently wrapped in this shade. The color looks quite similar, right?

Re: Pics: Imports gathering dust in India

It could possibly be this very Ghost - since I don't remember seeing another Ghost in this color. This picture was taken at the Mahalaxmi Race Course parking lot and this was parked in the reserved Poonawaalas parking. Sad to see it in this state now.

No no mate. The shade does look identical. But the one you posted is a Salamanca Blue Ghost Series II and the one at the police station is the first generation Ghost.

See those pics & video breaks my heart :(.

Can't someone just have a body cover put? Let it stay impounded, but with a cover.

10 years since it was last seen - I believe this car has gone through a color change (white) and is now a RIP.
Rest In Pieces! The car was also up on auction on Facebook. Wonder how much it got sold for.

Auctioned on Facebook? By the owner or any public authority?

V12, you left us restless regarding the final bid. Please let us know the final bid if you have any idea in that regard.
I just wish I don't get a heart attack after getting back your reply

Re: Pics: Imports gathering dust in India

Hey Aakarsh,

I too am not sure about the auction details. I Just did a search on Google and found that this car was being auctioned. I am sure it would have gone for <10L considering it was going to be written off or scrapped. Found an ad as of June 2015 quoting 14.95L for a well maintained BMW 7 series. Not sure what happened between these 6 months that resulted in its current state.

http://www.clicads.in/bmw_735li_high...32882d8365d3e4

Maybe the maintenance cost was too high.
