In Delhi this can still be done, for a price of course.

transferring number can be done only if the original car with the number plate is non existence or trashed.

No, in Delhi there's a way around where an old car's number can be transferred to a new car without the old car being trashed.

IT is finally here... my car that i have spent the last one and a half years tuning and doing up... its finally here! Its actually still in customs, but soon enough i'll burn some Delhi roads up, and since i've shifted to bombay, i'll be taking it there.
Porsche 911 c4s Limited Edition, supercharged, remapped engine, custom bodywork, Custom Interior, Custom Wheels (which have already got ruined, hopefully geting new ones soon). Custom exhaust with silent button. Custom sound system (cant see an extra speaker, everything looks factory, but when you crank it up... Oh, the BASE)! Did i mention NOS? haha...
The only thing that wasn't done that i wanted was the flame throwers... apparently its illegal in England. so they wouldn't do it.
I have never been so excited about a car... This is my baby. I have some pics just before it left from London! Will post soon...

yeah. I bought the car in London where it was done up. I used it while i was doing it, thats why it took me so long to do it. it was more bit by bit. I would get some work done... then use the car and see what else i would like. then have that done. So Basically its not over done or under done. I only did things i would find usefullll. And during the process she became the ultimate car for me.

liv2dr great going just read the thread and congratulations on your purchase.
my advice to you would be keep the car in delhi. the roads are better than in bombay and you would just ruin a magnificiant beast. the portholes narrow roads and the traffic would not let you use her to satisfaction.
