I would surely like to see how the RTO reacts to the hotrod as their rule states no car tyres should be outside the Body, exhaust sticking out of the body and engine parts above the Bonett. Many people would have already had Hotrods of the true sense in India if it was not for this rule. Maybe seeing whose behind this cars wheel the RTO officers let their rules slide.

I just hope that people don't come in the middle of the road near Bandra reclamation before the sea-link this time , it blocks the view of all the oncoming cars and is very very dangerous.

Is there any better place to hear the cars on the current rally route ?

There is a slight chance that the F12 might turn up, but I doubt the 458 Challenge will be there. From what I know, it's gone back to where it came from.

Teen batti, Malabar Hill is a good spot where all the cars slow down for the hairpin.

There's a A8L diesel in place of the R8 alongwith a Q7.

The F12 will be surprising if it turns up.

Is there ample parking space available near vidhan bhavan? I've never been to this venue, only race course hence asking.

There is going to be mad rush, even for those with the media pass, since the display time is just 2 hours

Parking shouldn't be too much of an issue there, as long as you're okay with walking 3-4 minutes to the display area.

I was really kind of hoping the route included the Eastern Freeway as well this year. Would've been absolutely amazing to see these cars fly by at full chat. Well, I guess that is just a pipe dream for now.


I sincerely hope no accidents happen this year, we've had a damaged Maserati and a charred R8 already. Let's hope this one is incident free!!

Not just that, most of the antics that the 'observers' & followers in cars and on bikes do is extremely dangerous and downright stupid & unfortunately it will continue. What can possibly beat lining up on the sealink to get a glimpse of the aventador and other lambos going and break-neck speed ?
How much can the police do ? In the end only the awareness needs to increase among people.
Most of these people see these cars perhaps once a year on this day (apart from desktop wallpapers) & hence get a tremendous high in telling people how their cruze/sunny/swift/alto/wagonR/city/FIGO kept up with woh bohot avaz karne vali loud gaadi which ends up in sorry situations like the figo-maserati scene.
I hope things get better, somehow.

This is GS's Hotrod. It is basically a 1932 Ford with a 500 HP Chrysler engine and is completely rebuilt in Bangalore

Seems like the Hot Rod and the flame throwing Kreissieg'd LP700 would be the only attractions this year along with the chrome Gallardo SE.
The LP720-4 Anniversario and the Nero Nemesis Oakley Avent too wouldnt turn up I am told and no chance of an F12 to come either.
So just hoping AM brings in something interesting like the Virage Volante or the V12 Vantage S. Again, just hoping.
