Even before the unveil it has managed to snap up more than 700 bookings, making it a worthy replacement for the best selling Lamborghini of all time- the Gallardo.

I see no reason why they shouldn't be shared. The car has already been launched worldwide. The No pictures rule is applicable at private previews which are conducted before the launch. The invitees are given lockers to keep Cellphones and all electronic gadgets, and are made to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

I was there for the private preview (not the India launch) and at my slot which was the first slot of saturday were we were asked not to take pictures of the car. These pictures have been taken on the sly and not with lamborghini permission.

I was there at the second slot on saturday.
Photography wasn't prohibited.
Everyone was asked not to upload the pictures or videos to social media sites.

It was not a launch of the HURACÁN, but only a private preview. There is no such mandate that its necessary to submit phones before entering the scene. However, a disclaimer generally is there to be signed for private preview entries. IMO, internationally it is easier to instruct customers to not click pictures and the same is followed. The intention is not to disallow people from taking pictures, unless its a pre production car.

Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Pictures did come up on social media at the end of day one. Hence i guess there were no objections on taking pictures on day 2.

We saw the same pre production HURACÁN somewhere not in India 2 months back.

Of course we followed the rules and didn't take any pictures.

The launch is slated to happen later this year.

I went for the private preview of the Lamborghini Huracan on Sunday, the last slot by which time a few photos and even a video had found their way online.

When I went I was not deterred from taking the photographs I did, but I was told that since the car is in pre-production specification to NOT upload photos of the car's closer angles, which I duly obliged.

That said, the car is fantastic to look at and should be available for further viewing and even Test Drives from Lamborghini Dealerships by July-August this year (according to one Lambo rep). I was mesmerized by the car and even did a specific blog post about it. It looks rather better in the flesh than in photographs and is sure to be a distinct rival for the Ferrari 458 Italia.

Here are a few photos from my end -
