Looks in pretty good condition too.

This is one of my all time favorite classics! They embody everything a Lotus stands for. Although prices have been rising for these beauties in Europe they are still considered affordable. Depends a bit which model/year/condition but you could probably find yourself an Elan from upward of 18-20.000UKP. Lot of money in India.

What a rarity to spot one of these. I have a close family friend in London who owned an Elan +2 about a decade ago, completely restored it and finished it in Rosso Corsa. It would turn more heads than a modern day supercar and the smell of gasoline, wood and leather inside the cabin, combined with the tight interior space and mounting heat, was pure automotive nirvana.

Looks like this is the Napean Sea road Mumbai car, belonging to an avid collector, rarely seen her on the road. Used to be green or lemonish yellow, if i remember. Great condition as well.

This beauty along with a host of other classics can be seen at Mid Town Motors in Bombay Central. They are all owned by the owner of the garage. They do a fantastic job of restoring Classic's.
