As an example if you ask for gloss black paint on the wheels of a Lamborghini from the factory and you happen to scratch one of the wheels, the same wheel will be painted at the authorized Lamborghini facility locally only.

The same fact mentioned above along with some amazingly done up cars in the past gives the customer enough confidence in their dealer in Mumbai to get the job done from them.

You will also see the transparent engine bay on many Huracáns soon.

Regarding the transparent engine cover what I understand is, that it is there in the option list, but when the car was ordered the engine cover was not in stock, therefore it was installed later as a retro fit.

Cheers
Thank you for the clarification, also I hear that the latest Huracan delivered in Bombay(Aracio Borealis?!?) is the first Huracan to be delivered with a glass engine cover in the country!

Yes! What you have heard is true!
The Mumbai Arancio Borealis Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 is the first one in the country to be delivered with a glass engine cover

In my opinion it looks stunning! Pics for you all to enjoy from Lamborghini's recent drive to Aamby Valley. From AA!

A prospective customer who had taken the Huracan for a test drive arrested for rash driving on the Bandra-Worli Sealink!

http://epaperbeta.timesofindia.com/A...30032015002070

Quote:
A Juhu businessman was arrested on Sunday for rash driving and risking other people's lives after the editor of a popular news channel complained to the police.
The complainant told the police that the person drove a Lamborghini at a very high speed on the Bandra-Worli sea .The police then registered an FIR and arrested Samvit Ramesh Tara (39), a Juhu resident.

Police said Tara, who has a home decor showroom at Lower Parel, wanted to buy a Lamborghini and contacted a showroom at Prabhadevi and took the high-end car for a test drive. Following an alert from the news channel editor, the police arrested the Juhu businessman.

He is not a prospective customer..He is a customer. The orange Huracan in the pictures posted above belongs to him.

I reached the worli end just as the demo car was pulled over. I did ask other drivers who had stopped and they were surprised too as to why this person was pulled over. They said the car was very loud but not driven at high speed.

The sad part was Arnab Goswami was in a desire and he complained to the cops and called the press. I did not see any reason for him to do so by calling 2 cop cars, 1 van, plus waiting there till the person was escorted to the cop station.

Why was this person who already owns a Huracan driving the test drive car? I find it odd.

Edit - Speedy is correct.

^ Wow, social media is having a field day with this story!

Ranging from insinuating that Arnab Goswami owns a Lamborghini, to Arnab Goswami being caught speeding in a Lamborghini, to 'you wont believe what happened next'.

@Speedy - Good to have a first-hand account of the story, thanks.

@akshay1234 - I was wondering the same thing!

Re: Lamborghini Huracán in India

If Judge Arnab was riding in the speed limit i guess anyone going faster than him would be an offender. But yes if the Lambo was doing well above speed limits and on public roads then i have no issue with him calling the cops. Any sane person would do the same.

Re: Lamborghini Huracán in India

How does it feel like to be interrupted now eh, Arnab?
Kudos to the Mumbai police.
As for the apparent "noise" well you cant take away the roar from a beast can you? This is How a Car Should sound!

Don't think we should empathise with wrong-doers just because they drive fancy cars. Arnab complained, and the cops reacted - that is it. As an aside, I wonder how a furniture dealer can afford a Hurracan or two

Why not?! When we can have farmers ballin' in Rolls, why can't "furniture dealers" own a Lambo?
And FYI, this gentleman here owns a super upmarket interior decor store in Mumbai. Not just any other furniture store.

His car was at the service centre as he wanted something done, hence he borrowed the demo car for the weekend.

Sir if you spend a day just going up and down the sealink..you would have 90% of the drivers arrested for being over the speed limit. i do hope you are aware that the speed limit is 50 kmph. I don't even think Arnab's desire was following the speed limit..

Speeding does not make one irresponsible. The lane is empty and one is sticking to it and hitting triple digit speeds is not being irresponsible..its better than the taxi and other car owners who drive below the thriple digits but keep criss crossing lanes and don't use their side mirrors, rear view mirror and indicate a lane change and just dive in..

Were you present at the scene, do you know the facts..so please hold your horses, before calling someone a rogue and bringing in the rich man angle. If you would see in your own city you would find lakhs..who drive like lunatics and don't have fancy cars. One does not pay attention as its a normal car, press is not interested as its not a sensational story..cops won't make a huge cry as they would take their 50/100 bucks and let the guy go.

He is not some carpenter type of person as you are assuming but has a high end store with imported Furniture and artefacts from the world over..like a home decor store. If a barber can own a rolls royce and a fleet of cars..why can't a furniture dealer.
