Saw the white huracan near the brts outside defense colony in Delhi on Sunday. Had seen the pictures and sketches(wasnt that interested in the cars design earlier as i considered it to bear an uncanny resemblance to the 2010 lotus espirit concept) but it made a huge difference when i saw the car in flesh, the proportions are really dramatic on this one.

First Huracan is delivered to a customer in Delhi. Its Rosso Mars and shares garage with a Sprintblau Perleffekte Audi R8 V10 and a Sunburst Yellow AM V8 Vantage. Pics are awaited though

I really like those rims, they remind me of the old school Lambo rims like on the Diablo. Lamborghini Mumbai is really doing some great paint jobs.

Can't wait to see the Huracan in my favorite Lambo colour - green.

The job is done by Jahan Mistry, i know him since the last 7 years and he is god of paint jobs. The attention to detailing that he does is unbeatable and unparalleled. IMHO he is one of the best crafstmen i have ever come across does it. He is based out of mumbai (kanjur marg). His a gem of a person and very down to earth.

Are we talking about the paint job on those Giano rims or has the complete car got a paint job?!?!
Both ways why would anyone want to get it done at a dealership when Lamborghini itself offers a very high level of customisation?!?!?!



Also, I am wondering why is no one ordering a Huracan with a transparent engine cover, is it not on the options list? I highly doubt it isn't and price is not supposed to be an issue with some one buying a Lamborghini!

Automobili Lamborghini does offer a very level of customization, but unfortunately for India, it comes at quite a premium. All options costs get multiplied over and over, considering import duties, vat, road tax, insurance and other stately taxes. As an example if you ask for gloss black paint on the wheels of a Lamborghini from the factory and you happen to scratch one of the wheels, the same wheel will be painted at the authorized Lamborghini facility locally only.

The same fact mentioned above along with some amazingly done up cars in the past gives the customer enough confidence in their dealer in Mumbai to get the job done from them.

You will also see the transparent engine bay on many Huracáns soon.

The rims ad prsonam is not available with the company, they only give the rims either in black or silver, therefore it is done at the dealer who are equipped to handle this level of customization paint, as mentioned to you it needs some skill to do this job and Jahan specializes in it.

Regarding the transparent engine cover what I understand is, that it is there in the option list, but when the car was ordered the engine cover was not in stock, therefore it was installed later as a retro fit.
