Looks like India's first Lamborghini Huracan has touched down at the CSIA, Mumbai.

Finished in Bianco Monocecus with the optional Mimas forged wheels.

More on this, doctorque, CL_55?

Thanks to my "Source" who prefers to be unidentified.

Lamborghini Delhi posted these very pics on their FB page saying that the country's first Huracan has landed. I guess that must confirm it. 2-3 Rosso Mars Huracans too are headed here. Will be used for demo purposes while this will a display car it seems. :)

And this is what Automobili Ardent posted on their fb page.

Quote:

Now that the country's first Lamborghini Huracan is here, let us repost what we posted a few months back.
Lambo Mumbai and Lambo Delhi get one Huracan each for showroom display and another for demo purposes. The showroom cars will be Bianco Monocerus and the demo car Rosso Mars from what we have been told. Lambo Bengaluru gets two Rosso Mars Huracans one of which will be delivered to Kerala and the other a demo car.
More on this soon. Stay tuned.
Cheers!

Yes, I saw the post this morning.

I still can't wrap my head around the Lamborghini norm that all their display/demo vehicles should be in white. If you want to attract customers shouldn't you be showcasing your product in the most vibrant of colors?

Am sure the issue is that

1: White always sells
2: If a potential punter scratches it on a test drive, it is easy to touch up

Umm why are the headlights on during transit? Were they doing some sort of PDI post landing?

Haven't seen much of Huracans other than whites circulating around. Though I'm a huge fanatic of Rosso Mars for the Gallardo, I guess black would rather go well with the Huracan :).

Come on, that may apply to Hyundai or Honda, why Lamborghini? :(

Black does looks menacing, but I'm dying to see one in Verde Mantis!

Unfortunately it does apply to Lambs as well. Check the bangalore Avents
2x white coupe (one wrapped in yellow)
1x roadster
Even the other roadster is a lighter shade.

And that is 4 out of 5 just in Bangalore (Not counting the one in showroom).

Why only Bangalore? Take whole of India for example. Half the Gallardos are yellow and the rest Orange or white. There are hardly any in Red, Green or Black. While.other interesting colors like Grigio Telesto/Antares/Thalasso, Nero Alderberan and Marrone Apus and other are non.existent. Hope this changes with the Huracan coming in.

It seems the Huracan shipments were bang on time. When I went for the launch I was told the demo cars would arrive by end-July and that deliveries to customers would begin by August to September.

It seems funny, however that this Huracan seems absolutely unprotected by any kind of wrappings, plastic or covers. If I remember correctly the LHD launch vehicle was wrapped up damn well as was the Huayra that stopped over in Mumbai before moving on to Hong Kong.

I think you'd love the Bangalore car that's coming soon and I'm pretty sure you know the color already :)

The Rosso Mars Huracan looks quite good too.

Saw one in the Lamborghini Factory/Museum.

Yes both white. BTW Zauba pretty slowww in updating such stuff :p
More to come by month's end.

@Shoaib- All TDVs for India are Rosso Mars I am told.

And on another note, Kris Singh, the owner of a Veneno Coupe and a LP720-4 in an Ad Personam shade called Verde Singh said on another forum that a few Verde Singh Huracans are destined to India. Would love to see some in that shade!
