Spotted the Gallardo today after quite sometime. Spiderman was ripping it superbly. And what acceleration!!! The security car had a very hard time keeping up with him. We reached Lokhandwala backroad, he floored it and moments later, he was out of sight and was reaching the endddd of the road.

I stilllll maintain, its nowhere as loud as the Murcielago though, but still loud like a supercar!!

A video of the Gallardo Spyder across the road. There isn't much noise, because he didn't floor it on this stretch. And these stupid Nokia phones can record only 9s. Everytime he was gonna dump the accelerator pedal, the video stopped.

Yes Ishaan and A Certain pretty lady drives it...!

AFAIK, I mostly caught the car turning in at Savitri Complex and A few times in GK 2 M Block ( Not GK 1)...!

Great photo's and video's. I love the Gallardo and was going to buy one last year - still not sure about moving overseas so I decided to wait a while. My local dealer was adamant that the Gallardo has the more soulfoul exhaust note -both my wife and I drove the Gallardo extensively over several days and I have to say that the noise was INCREDIBLE. One of my neighbours has a Murci and it does not sound as nice!

The thing with the Gallardo you need to get above 4,000 or so to make it sound like world is coming to an end! Not sure if you could floor it completel on a city street in India - I wouldn't! Too much risk to pedestrians.

We only took a couple of video's of the Gallardo - if someone wants to tell me how to upload them happy to do! Even below 5,000rpm the sound is MASSIVE!

Ah, a friend from Japan! I've lived in Tokyo for four years, and much like you, have lived in the UK for the past 6 years almost. Japan was fabulous when it came to cars, although I was young, I had the pleasure of sitting in and checking out countless Porsches, Ferraris and on certain lucky days, even Lamborghinis.

I still find the topic about the exhaust notes of the Gallardo and the Murcielago very debatable. I've heard both at over 5000rpm, and I still prefer the gurgle that the Murcielago makes. The Murci made my ears fuzz and kinda pop, though the Gallardo only came close to doing so. Fabulous cars though, both of them.

Hai, it has elements of japanese to it, the name :P

Awesome...I hope this thread isn't going too offtopic here, but I couldn't resist.

I was in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, a pretty cool place...we had a lot of car showrooms like BUBU (name always cracks me up), Ferrari, and custom ones with a few exotics, etc. I'm yet to see a Zonda as well...dying to see one because my sister saw one a few years back here in London, and I haven't.

I'm afraid it was a while back that I lived there, so I'm not too certain of the Omotesando area. Anywhere near Roppongi? Hibiya?

Good to know you own a lovely 997, awesome car. Hope you get that Gallardo too!

Spotted the Lambo last afternoon. It was the first time I seen it in proper light. The Orange is very mesmerizing.
