499? I think it has to be the LaFerrari then. Cuz I only know the LaFerrari being limited to 499 units.

There may be other supercars which would be limited to 499, but my limited knowledge extends only upto the LaFerrari.

BTW, whose is it going to be? If you don't mind sharing? Or if you can PM me his name. Thank You.

That to me is the La Ferrari too. Its the 1st LaFerrari so could it be the factory's test car? The one Fernando Alonso goes crazy with in Fiorano.

Sorry Xtreme, not doubting your knowledge on the subject, but that didnt make much sense to me. Usually that format of fraction is to say the number against the total quantity isnt it?! So all LaFerrari's would have the same 1/499? Thought the last one would say 499/499

All LF are numbered 1/499. Too many egoistic monkeys wanted the serial number 1/499 so ferrari did the clever thing and said all cars are 1/499, which is correct.

It is 1 of 499 cars.

And I doubt if a LaF is actually gonna turn up at Parx. They promised the MP4-12C at a track day and it is still to be seen. They even said a LP720 would turn up at last year's rally, wonder where that went then. And I am wondering whose LaF would be bought down.
But all that aside, I sincerely hope one turns up!

Google images has a similar close-up picture of the "limited edition 1\499" badge, which I found yesterday with a straightforward google search.

Btw, notice how they write 1 of 499? With a backward slash and not a forward one. The natural choice for anyone is to write it as "1/499". God knows, what and how these Italians think

And yes, it would be great to see it being driven alongwith the Aventadors and the likes. It will give the Aventadors the "Daddy is here" feel

It indeed is the LaFerrari. Guess you should've gone through the previous posts before making this one.

The LaFerrari coming down does not seem too far fetched since deliveries have begun. Its just a question of whether its owned by an Indian or if its Ferrari officially bringing it in themselves.


Don't forget that Lamborghini was able to bring down a pre-production, LHD Huracan just weeks after its official launch for private previews all over India. That shows that when a car manufacturer puts their weight behind something it can and will happen.


Only thing making me skeptical though is that since LaFerrari is a limited production car, its not like they're trying to entice customers by showing it off. So let's wait till the tenth day of January 2015 for our answers.


Personally, I want a P1, a 918, LaFerrari, Huayra and a Hennessey Venom here. But that's me just dreaming.
