Pics: Renault Vel Satis

Hey Fellaz,
I spotted this lovely car at Peddar Road the other day. Could'nt read the name as i was on the opposite side of the road. The Front was a massive chrome grille. It had a weird emblem on it. Never seen it before i guess. Here is one the the side pics i managed. Try and solve this mystery.

That is a Renault Vel Satis. Very obviously imported.

It's got an excellent interior, worth checking out. The seats are gorgeous. However, it's apparent oddball looks are a love-it-or-hate-it thing. The car was meant to compete with mid-sized luxury sedans, such as the E, the 5, the A6, the S80, etc.

It was launched in the UK in 2001, but sells in very few numbers. In my five years here, I must have spotted about ten. It is priced from around £25-30k.
