Followed this beauty from SNDT till Prabhat road.
The XK.
Pune registered . Rego. number 9999.

It was quite hard to keep up, and that too on a busy Friday evening.

And the sound of the exhaust from those quad pipes - awesome!

This car belongs to a Builder who has his office just off JM Road and very close to Pizza hut. He also has a Black Rolls Royce and a New Beetle. The Rolls Royce also shares a similar 9999 registration.

The black RR bearing the no 9999 was once followed by me on the expressway from mumbai end of the expressway uptill navi mumbai. After that it slowed down and I lost sight of it.

Saw the Jaguar F type, the new shape at Baner in the evening yesterday. What a car, looked pristine in white with the top down. Going by where it was spotted, ain't very difficult to guess who the potential owner could be.

The F type is yet to be launched here. Most likely a July 2013 launch. What you probably saw was an XK or XKR convertible.

I have been in an XK-R, so I am sure it was the F type. Honestly I did not expect to see a F type so early. If I had not been driving, I would have clicked some pics.

Well, I don't think there are any F-Types around, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if there were any. What you had seen could very well be a private import or a test mule.

Not sure about the owner but i remember reading somewhere that Mr.Ratan Tata had ordered a F type. Was it on TC plates? It could also be here for homologation at ARAI !

Spotted a KA1 registered Red Porsche Carrera S at the sangamwadi by-pass yesterday, the passenger was a very smartly belted up kid, probably accompanying his dad. The driver pulled up once and then went all out on the throttle, the car just wooshed past me but I was expecting a lot more noise. I guess it was a last gen Carrera.

Yes, its a 2011 911 Carrera with Turbo rims. Btw, it's owner has a good taste, opted for the extra-payable red coloured seat belts for it.
