Spotted this VOLVO on SB Road some days back.

Hey Kalinga looks like you followed the Volvo. Anyway if you want to check out some imports you must go to FC Road on a Sunday morning between 8 and 10-30. Outside Vaishali there are lots of these expensive cars. I am sure this Volvo will be seen again there. I have seen Mercs and Beemers apart from a couple Range Rovers (MH-12 registered).

not really an exotic, but just recd this mail from a friend residing in pune about spotting Fiat India's bravo being driven.

I saw a Fiat Bravo sometime back near University, same color, the car was chauffeur driven with an old guy in the back seat reading the newspaper. Doesn't this thing have like a 150bhp motor or something?
You can see the width of the car in comparison to the Swift, it was really wide with THICK tyres.

had heard from a reliable source that when fiat were thinking of bringing the bravo into india they found the market not willing to pay big (17lacs and above) for a hatchback. so the few that came or testing were given to company officials as company cars. This particular one can be seen quite regularly speeding on the old pune mumbai highway towards the factory at ranjangaon and at nashik phata on the pimpri chinchwad highway.

BTW here is what i spotted yesterday while driving home, the shots were taken while driving (my bad) and hence the pics are from inside my car cabin.

Going by your description, I feel that the car belongs to Fiat CEO, Rajeev Kapoor.

IIRC, Fiat Bravo is powered by 1.9 MJD which produces 150 BHP & 305 Nm.

As far as I know, one Fiat Bravo belongs to Rajeev Kapoor and other one to Ravi Bhatia. These are the 'only two' that are often seen in Mumbai.

last trip to pune/bombay i came across a maroon db9 in lonavala and a grey (again indore/MP registered) rapide in bombay.

Are you sure it was a db9 ?
It could be the the maroon vantage from Pune.

I thought as much, but then it had db9 written behind it (as far as i recall). even i was at a decent speed while the car was taking a u turn, so couldn't quiet spot many differences.

looked like a db9 to me (the badge)
