Supercars & Imports : Pune

Saw a Hummer in private parking yesterday in Pimpri. Could see only the front view, an H3 if I am not wrong. Prior to Hummer there was a Pajero SWB couple of months back. No pics, since I was driving.

The Silver car is a very old import and has been spotted quite a few times before.

Spotted this wicked beast while going from PMC towards station. Took a U turn and followed it from RTO upto Garware Square. Sorry for the crappy cell phone cam pics.

Registration MH 04 XX 1.

PS: Not much into Rolls Royce. Can anyone confirm if this is a Phantom Coupe or a DHC ?

Its a Rolls Royce DHC. Nice catch !!

Its indeed an RR DHC. Did the number end with *R-1?

WOAH !! I did think it was the DHC because somehow the front of a phantom coupe differs from that of a DHC. (Don't know the other differences coz as i said earlier, i'm not much into Rolls). Yes the number ends with *R-1

I consider myself fortunate to have seen the rarest Rolls Royce !

[Edit: Also saw a black Audi RS5 near KP and a new gen red Audi TT at Kalyani Nagar. Sorry no pics as I was driving.]

That Phantom DHC has been in Pune for quite some time now. The owner has a fine taste in cars. He's got a G55 AMG, Bentley Flying Spur, BMW 650i and the latest is the Volkswagen Phaeton.

I'm quite sure the main difference between the Phantom Coupe and the DHC is that the Phantom Coupe is a hard top while this is a convertible soft top. Or rather thats the easiest way to distinguish.

Saw a brand new Audi R8 V10 (I think) outside the Audi Pune showroom. I think it was ready for delivery! Beautiful Blue color! Looked gorgeous. Sorry no pictures coz I was driving.

Spotted a RR in Kalyani Nagar around 6p.m. Sorry no pics. A colleague who was sitting in the car commented that five years back people used to get excited like that for Beemers.

I don't know if Merc as a brand still comes under the Exotics category but nevertheless posting the sighting of SLK 350 in Pune yesterday.

This was on Paud Road. I was behind the car and saw a guy hanging outside of the Beat and taking the snaps. Thought some photo shoot is on. Then passed the car and saw that Ganapati Bappa had a new ride instead of the traditional mouse.

Not sure if the guy was capturing the car or the lord.

Man, see that jack*** thats clicking snaps

. He is half out of that car, and that too on a busy road. Also, notice that man on the Kinetic. Only in India could you see a picture like this- an exotic (?), an idiot clicking snaps in that fashion and an elderly man breaking all possible laws by driving in the wrong lane.

O.T: Ganpati bappa sure had a sweet ride to take him home
